All consultations are private and confidential. We can manage partner notification discreetly and provide treatment prescriptions on the same day as a positive result where appropriate.

📚 Clinical guidelines

All testing, diagnosis and treatment follows BASHH (British Association for Sexual Health and HIV) guidelines, BHIVA standards for HIV management, and NICE PH3 (one-to-one interventions for sexual health). Contact tracing and partner notification is handled discreetly in accordance with PHE guidance.

Dr Qurbain is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FFPM) — one of approximately 700 in the UK. This qualification represents the highest level of expertise in pharmaceutical medicine, covering drug development, clinical pharmacology and evidence-based prescribing.

Unlike nurse-led or questionnaire-only services, every Metovia patient is assessed and prescribed by a doctor with specialist qualifications. Dr Qurbain reviews your full clinical picture — history, comorbidities, medications and risk factors — before any treatment is agreed.
