1. Who we are
These terms govern your use of metovia.co.uk and the private medical services provided by Dr Anzal Qurbain MBBS BSc(Hons) MBA FFPM (GMC 4369286), trading as Metovia. By using this website or booking a consultation, you agree to these terms.
2. Nature of the service
Metovia provides private medical consultations, diagnosis, treatment and prescribing. We do not provide emergency medical care. In a medical emergency, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E.
Our services complement but do not replace ongoing NHS care. We encourage all patients to maintain registration with an NHS GP.
3. Eligibility
Our services are available to adults aged 18 and over resident in the United Kingdom. Eligibility for specific treatments (e.g. GLP-1 therapy) is assessed at the initial consultation.
4. Appointments and cancellations
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee
- Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur a fee of 50% of the consultation price
- We will give maximum notice if we need to reschedule
5. Fees and payment
Consultation fees are quoted on our website and confirmed at booking. Fees are payable in advance or at consultation. All fees are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
6. Prescriptions
Private prescriptions are issued only following a proper clinical assessment. We do not prescribe without a consultation. Prescribing is at our clinical discretion.
7. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete medical history information
- Inform us of any changes to your health or medications
- Follow agreed treatment plans and attend follow-up appointments
- Inform your NHS GP of any private treatment (we recommend this and will offer to write to your GP with your consent)
8. Complaints
Contact us at hello@metovia.co.uk. We will acknowledge within 3 working days and aim to resolve within 20 working days. You may also raise concerns with the GMC (gmc-uk.org).
9. Regulatory information
Dr Anzal Qurbain is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC 4369286). Verify at gmc-uk.org.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
